International Podcast Day

International Podcast Day is an annual celebration held on September 30th that promotes the power and reach of podcasting worldwide. Originally launched as National Podcast Day in 2014, the organization rebranded to International Podcast Day in 2015 to reflect the global nature of the podcasting community.

The organization facilitates worldwide participation through live streaming events, promotional materials, and coordinated activities across multiple countries. Between 2015-2022, International Podcast Day has live streamed hundreds of hours of content featuring 360 podcasters from nearly 100 countries including Australia, Germany, South Africa, India, Canada, and the United States.

International Podcast Day serves podcasters, podcast listeners, and audio enthusiasts by providing opportunities to connect, share favorite shows, and grow the podcasting community. The organization offers promotional banners, audio and video promos, and encourages participants to use the hashtag #InternationalPodcastDay to engage with the global celebration across social media platforms and podcasting networks.
