CBC Radio One

CBC is a Canadian corporation that serves as the national public radio and television broadcaster. CBC delivers a comprehensive range of radio, television, internet, and satellite-based services. CBC/Radio-Canada is the only domestic broadcaster to offer diverse regional and cultural perspectives in English, French, and eight Aboriginallanguages. The company’s radio services include CBC Radio One; CBC Radio 2; Ici Radio-Canada Première; Ici Musique; and the international radio service, Radio Canada International. Its television operations include CBC Television, Ici Radio-Canada Télé, CBC News Network, Ici RDI, Ici Explora, Ici ARTV (part ownership), and documentary. CBC also offers services for Canadian Arctic under the names CBC North and Radio-Canada Nord. In addition, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation offers digital services, including CBC.ca / Ici.Radio-Canada.ca, CBC Radio 3, CBC Music / ICI.mu and Ici.TOU.TV, and owns 20.2% of satellite radio broadcaster Sirius XM Canada, which carries several CBC-produced audio channels. CBC is the oldest existing broadcasting network in Canada. It was established in November 2, 1936.
