Outlier Festival

Outlier Festival (also known as the Outlier Podcast Festival) is an independent podcast festival that brings together indie podcasters, industry professionals, sponsors, and listeners for a multi-day event centered on podcasting and audio storytelling. The festival has been held in locations such as Fab Factory Studios in North Hollywood and has also hosted events in Toronto. It is organized by Ever Gonzalez.

The festival program includes keynote addresses, panel discussions, and breakout workshops led by podcast hosts, producers, and industry experts. Topics covered have included audience growth and data strategy, representation of women in podcasting, community building through podcasting, branding, audio editing, storytelling techniques, marketing, and guest outreach. Past keynote speakers and panelists have included podcast hosts, producers, and media professionals from across the indie podcasting community.

In addition to its main programming, the festival organizes networking events and meetups throughout festival week, giving attendees opportunities to connect with peers, potential collaborators, and sponsors. The event serves independent podcast creators at various stages of growth as well as industry professionals and companies serving the podcasting space.
